Did Cohen improperly divert $500,000 from a Boys & Girls Club to finance AAR? Is there anybody with any other information other than these two articles?

Both articles you cite note that money MAY have been LOANED to AAR. Not STOLEN by AAR.

If the foundation illegally loaned the money, it;s their problem, not AAR's. AAR simply needs to pay back the money under the condition of the loan.

However, from what I can gather Air America did not steal anything.

There was a loan made to Air America though back when Evan Cohen was heading it up. At the same time he was also director of development for the local Boys and Girls Club. This loan may have been illegal for whatever reasons -- the articles do not say.

Just judging from those two articles it doesn't look like there was any criminal intent but rather the loan went afoul of whatever funding laws are on the books.
