Maybe we should drag out William Caley.
If the right wants to start squawking about what Jane Fonda did 35 years ago, maybe we should start pointing at William Caley. He got a slap on the wrist for conducting a massacre of women and children. All of his higher-ups got off scot-free. Colin Powell covered it up, and look where it got him.

Sure, Jane Fonda did a stupid, idiotic thing. But hundreds of other American peace activists had made the trip before her. They just weren't dumb enough to let the North Vietnamese take propoganda photo's, and give a speech.
