1. Yeah, they had a big segment on the Today show yesterday...
They had a cop on. His son died from it. I think he was 13 or so.

8. I knew a guy who sniffed tolulene (paint thinner)
He got very sick, did crazy shit, and went to jail.

Funny fact: When he was high, he could get bumblebees to land on his hand and let him pet them.

I'd seen him do it more than once.

Freaky.

10. I accidentally asphixiated on Pam once
I was just trying to cook with it as a teenager, but I got too many fumes. Why that would appeal to anyone I can't imagine.

5. Good lord. Have these people never heard of whippets?
I mean, really. Who huffs household chemicals when there's perfectly good nitrous oxide available for consumption?

9. You don't even need the whipped cream.
You can buy cases of whippets at your local headshop. It's just the little tanks of nitrous used to make whipped cream. Honestly, if you're going to huff something, why would you inhale dangerous chemicals when you could just do laughing gas?

Ahem. Not that I think anyone should huff anything, of course.

15. yeah - i know.....
but it's much better with whipped cream - it's like a legal speedball - you get the quick whippit buzz, and then the more sustained sugar high to keep it going.

i accidentally gave myself a nitrous high the last time i was premenstural and shooting whipped cream into my mouth.

11. That story is heartbreaking
One more thing to fear now.

It's funny. I stopped fearing for myself long ago, but my fears for my children are infinitely worse.
