CITY COUNCILMAN ARGUES BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS NEED NEW BIRTH CERTIFICATES
By DAVID TOLSEY

DO YOU accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior? Well, if you do in Okanogan County, Wash., you may be praying . . . and paying down at Town Hall.

That's if Councilman Ronald Weinke has anything to say about it. Weinke is spearheading a bill that would require all Born-Again Christians to get new birth certificates.

"Don't make me out to be some sort of villain," says Weinke. "My proposal includes the creation of an express line at our Vital Records department where these Born-Agains can get their birth certificates processed and recorded very quickly.

6. Then I assume they must first issue them death certificates
That would make the obituary column quite interesting.
