Yeah, maybe it's his thumb, but who cares? He walked away from reporters and ignored their questions - as he and his whole stonewalling administration have been doing for days and days - and he made a dismissive gesture with his hand as he did it.

What if the foreign reporter who was trying to question him thought the same thing we did? That he was being flipped off and dismissed by a world leader? Heck, there are some places where the thumbs up is the same as the "bird" anyway.

Thumb or middle finger, Bush's meaning was clear: "Drop dead, losers. I'm the Emperor and I do what I want and there's nothing you can do about it."
