This is so unbelievably sick, I am almost speechless. What an awful excuse for a human being. He is in my area to picket and protest at the funeral of a young man (22 years old) who entered the army just out of high school and was killed a few days ago in Iraq. This was a kid who beat the odds and graduated with honors, and most likely was in the military to earn money for college. He married his high school sweetheart, and they had two young children together. It is such a tragic tale - the same one being played out in towns and cities all over the U.S.

I have no clue why the wretched Phelps is picketing funerals of soldiers killed in the line of duty as a way to promote his insidious anti-gay agenda. This is so, so sick.

that who used to be very active with Civil Rights, it wasn't until one of his kids died (I believe in some type of car accident) that he went nuts.
