Edited on Thu Jul-28-05 12:07 PM by mopaul
cause that's what the stupid fucker did, he knew 9/11 was coming a month ahead of time but took a vacation instead without warning us.

bush would do all sorts of stupid things that most folks find unbelievable. and some here find it unbelievable that bush would give us the finger!

4. Yeah more arrogant, uncaring and evil than stupid to sacrifice 3000 people
for the opportunity to sacrifice 2000 (and counting) more for the opportunity to sacrifice 100,000 (and counting). On second thought, he* is THAT STUPID.

7. Viciousness and a depraved indifference to human suffering
(which he has shown in abundance since then) accounts for his actions, not stupidity. I believe in the superior plausibility of the simplest explanation. To be as stupid as your question alleges, Bush would need help just tying his shoes--no, see, already that involves too many complications. There are too many examples of him accomplishing simple tasks of hand-eye coordination, and sticking to memorized formulas for the "stupidity" argument to wash. He's dumb, not totally retarded. Keep it simple: he let it happen on purpose.

16. "depraved indifference" is a pretty good, concise slogan for him
and this whole bunch of criminals. Sort of sums up the whole PNAC enterprise, no? Depraved indifference toward the welfare of the planet and everyone on it, as long as certain pockets get lined, and priveleges protected.

8. Stupid like a greedy fox! I don't think these neocons see the average
joe as anything but cannon fodder and the working-class slugs who are on this earth to serve the ruling class like themselves. It's a type of manifest destiny that they rule and we suffer so they can maintain the "proper world order". The sooner people realize this, the sooner we can get rid of these thugs!

10. Whoa who whoa, don't be throwing things like that around
I'm not saying you are definitely wrong, but Bin Laden determined to attack in the U.S. does not say Bin Laden to hijack flight 209 and crash it into the world trade center. I don't feel there is nearly enough evidence to say this.

26. That's what I was fishing for -
I bet you that billions of people around the world rushed to the nearest TV or internet connection. I know I did. I was at work, and I spent the whole time following the latest updates on the internet (I didn't get any work done).

Now contrast that with a certain person who sat in a chair for 20 minutes listening to kids reading a story about goats. I can't draw any conclusion from that but it just seems strange to have so little curiosity about what was obviously the most spectacular terrorist attack ever committed (especially if you believe Condi Rice's "we never could've imagined.." speech).

14. Muslims think US behind September 11
Veterans for Common sense sent me this link today, speaking of 911 http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/?Page=Article&ID=4243 <SNIP> MOST Muslims in Australia believe the United States authorised the September 11 terror attacks, a Melbourne Islamic leader claims.

"We believe they are willing to sometimes sacrifice their own people for the objective to control the whole world," said Abu Hamza, president of the Islamic Information and Services Network.

<SNIP> Sheik Omran, while saying terrorism was evil, has said the Bush Administration orchestrated the September 11 attacks to give the US licence to invade Islamic countries.

Sheik Omran also believes there is no proof al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has anything to do with terrorism.

Mr Hamza agreed with the conspiracy theory, saying most Australian Muslims also believed the US was to blame.

19. Mopaul, you are on a roll today
and I think it's great! Nominated! :yourock:

That said, I believe * is capable of anything and that is what scares the crap out of me!

What I've been pondering today is whether *s victory with CAFTA will keep him happy for awhile. Are dems trying to placate him by voting for what he wants? I'm sure he made most of their lives a living hell lately by behaving like a petulant brat to get his way. So, in order to get him the hell off their backs, some democrats caved in. I'm pissed about it, but beginning to think that maybe alot of the crap dems are doing is just to keep another 911 from happening....

22. This is easy to understand once you know the definitions.
Almost no people died in the WTC event.

People in the WTC are not defined as people to the BFEE, the BFEE refer
to these type human beings as " OFUs " or one fodder units.

There are very few "people" in the world as far as the BFEE is concerned.
Hers's a fairly foolproof way to tell people from OFUs.

Humans that think they are people are usually "OFUs"
Anyone that thinks of people as "OFUs" are not human.

23. 3000 is nothing to the chimp!
Whatever it takes to get that black gold in the middle east! You don't really think the chimp and his rich oil and corporate friends can be expected to get along on the mere tens of millions they already have? The rest of us are being majorly screwed and the religious (not) right are too stupid to see how badly they have been manipulated to promote the neocon agenda. Once they hear 'Jesus', they believe anything he says. How the chimp, with his "Bring 'em on!" attitude while being the most protected man in the world, can say he is a Christian, I will never understand! More like the proverbial GUTLESS WONDER!

28. the truth about 9/11 is the key to defeating BushCo and . . .
turning this country around . . . 9/11 is the one thing that resonates most dramatically with Americans . . . and most people simply don't want to believe that our own government either made 9/11 happen, facilitated it, or at minimum let it happen . . . the truth lies in one of those three scenarios, and when it can be conclusively proven and communicated to the American public, BushCo will be dead . . .

32. People can't handle that one
The truth about 9/11, whatever it is, can't be fathomed by most folks. It flies in the face of all they believe. It rocks their boat too much. They can't even deal with the White House outing of a CIA agent. They refuse to believe AWOL-boy tells lies. They don't want to know that he's a greedy, ruthless liar surrounded by crooks. Some people like those characteristics and want to cash in. Then there are the totally brainwashed marching in lockstep who don't care.
Sadly, this might be one of those "mysteries" like JFK's assassination for which there will never be definitive proof. And even with absolute proof there would be many who refused to open their minds a crack to let in some reality. Too painful for them.

29. Smart people do dumb things all the time.
Edited on Thu Jul-28-05 02:13 PM by chieftain
And Little George is not that smart. He has always had trouble controlling his impulses and as his regime is unraveling around him, the desire to lash out at someone gains strength with every new piece of bad news. The reason this is important is that this is one more understandable, hard to spin, example of the mean little shit that he really is. Whether we like it or not the average voter sizes candidates up on indications as to a person's character and likeability. W has been able to fool the majority of the American populace, with the complicity of the MSM,that he is a decent guy. If this finger tape gets widespread coverage, it may help blow his nice guy cover the way the Army McCarthy Hearings revealed Tailgunner Joe to be a swaggering bully and the expletive deleteds on the Watergate tapes helped destroy RN's base of support. Here's hoping.
