Last night I dreamt I was on the WH press corps

and I had a chance to ask * (not McClellan) a question with the other press there.

In the dream, I thought really hard about what question to ask him. Should I ask about DSM, Valerie Plame, 9/11????

Finally it came to me.

"When did you learn that the information about Saddam seeking nuclear materials from Africa was inaccurate?"

I have a feeling Fitzgerald has already asked him this question. I dont' think there is a way out of it. If he says he found out before the state of the union address, I think he's toast because lying to congress is illegal. he could get indicted; and impeachment may not be necessary.

If he says he found out after the speech, he may get caught in a lie, and perjury charges could follow.

I think if he were forced to answer this question publicly he would be in trouble.

1. RW hate radio says that the Niger yellowcake is still in question

and the the British stand by the original information. I guess what I'm saying is that he could probably use some BS line like that to get out of it.

and find out where they get their info from. The BS has to end somewhere!

they already admitted it was untrue and there are forged documents. who cares what they say on the radio.

he clearly knows now that the docs were forged and the info was false. that's why the question is - "when did you first learn". the answer has to be sometime before now. he can't say he doesn't know it now.
