Wow Lou Dobbs Isn't pulling any punches
<snip>
As to "get tough," Andrew: I'm guilty as charged. If we don't demand a reciprocal trade relationship with China, there is absolutely no limit to our potential deficit. I want expanded U.S. trade with China, it's just that I prefer the Chinese balance the relationship with purchases of U.S. products and services. Andrew, that is called balanced trade, not protectionism.

Finally, Andrew, you and your ilk are nothing more or less than corporate supremacists, and your mindless faith-based understanding of economics is what got this country in this mess in the first place.

Lou Dobbs

I wonder if Freepers will start calling Lou Dobbs an evil liberal.

:evilgrin:

8. Methinks Dobbs just happened upon a new meme for us...
to use against the contemporary Republican Party and their compatriots in the DLC: Corporate Supremacists!

It has a better ring than "corporatist" or "corporate sell-out", doesn't it? :)

5. I remember when Dobbs would've been a very mainstream Republican.

I miss those days. Those Republicans had reasoned arguments and logical ideas on how to improve the country. You could have actual discussions with them.

6. Wow, Lou better start to 'balance' his rational views
with some kind of serious appreciation for the greedy, angry, delusional views of the medieval pricks on the right.

The cable networks have shown it takes very little impetus for them to drop progressive views off the air, and CNN has been especially unembarrassed about bowing to Republicans.

11. WSJ: "Comrade Lou"
>I wonder if Freepers will start calling Lou Dobbs an evil liberal.

Last year, the Wall Street Journal called him "Comrade Lou":

Comrade Lou

The Wall Street Journal reports that as the result of Dobbs' sharp attacks on companies that export jobs from the U.S. to other countries, some business leaders who formerly saw him as "reliable" now see him as a "communist."
