Canada's success in dealing with terrorism a model.
You need to sign up to read, but it's free. And you may as well anyway because the Globe and Mail is a newspaper I think many DUers would like, it's considered Canada's paper of record (Unless you voted for Harper).

On the question of terrorism and root causes, the Canadian government is studiously silent.

Does Prime Minister Paul Martin believe the enemy has no legitimate grievance with the West? Or is his government's position closer to that of London Mayor Ken Livingstone? "I think you've just had 80 years of Western intervention into predominantly Arab lands because of the Western need for oil," Mr. Livingstone said.

There's this slogan on the wall of the Indigo Bookstore in Toronto's Eaton Centre that says the World Could Use A Little More Canada. As your Great Lakes neighbor, I wholeheartedly agree!!
