"Moby Has Newfound Respect for Eminem" due to ** mocking
HONG KONG (AP) - Moby says he has newfound respect for Eminem - who once mocked him in a song - because the rapper criticized President Bush and the war in Iraq on his last album.

"I found myself respecting him for doing that," Moby told reporters during a promotional stop in Hong Kong for his latest album "Hotel."

Moby and Eminem have a long-standing feud. Moby has criticized Eminem's lyrics as misogynistic. Eminem lashed out at Moby and electronic music in "Without Me" and spoofed him in the song's video. He also called Moby a girl at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.

"Honestly, if he retired, I think the world of music would be a poorer place. He's a really fascinating public figure," Moby said.

1. eminem is complex and flawed
but inordinately talented. For a long time, I've argued he is the greatest MC in the hip hop world. However, there are new rivals coming up who can take that mantle from him if they continue to develop.

3. I really like Eminem
Since I'm 50ish and female, he would probably hate that.

5. Nah.
he seems more mellow than he used to be. Well, a little.

Don't want him too mellow.

I like my Microphone Contrallahs with a little attitude.

6. i like him too and i'm a 38 year woman, i don't like all of his stuff
but thats true of many artists i'm a fan of. I find many of his lyrics ironic, funny and very true.

4. Eminem's NOT electronic?
Except for his vocals, I'll bet there's not one organic sound on his albums.

7. Eminem says so many things just to shock listeners
that sometimes it is difficult to discern when he is attempting to shock and when he is actually showing sincerity.

I'm pretty sure that his criticisms of shrub are heartfelt...he is talented no doubt about it though.
