No More Military Deaths in Iraq after next March!
Eleanor Clift just said on NBC that the word is out that Bush has ordered that there be NO MORE MILITARY DEATHS in Iraq after next March (electioneering time)!!!

They will garrison the troops - taking them off the streets and the roads - and generally out of harm's way until the election. They'll also be bringing some soldiers home on a regular basis. Good PR.

The Dem candidates HAVE to make this public. Let's see if they have the guts.

1. Sounds insidious, but...

It's just more wishful thinking on the part of the PNAC crowd. Ok, so you take all the U.S. troops off the street. Does the Chimpministration think that the bloody anarchy that follows won't be on TV?

For that matter, how wise is it to concentrate our troops in a few places? We know that the "dead-enders" have used mortars in the past.

Just like the war itself, this is a neo-con plan that sounds oh-so-clever and cynically brilliant, but it just doesn't hold up when contacted with reality.

4. If they can prevent deaths that way,
why aren't they doing it now?

Actually, I don't understand what the plan is here.

6. The plan is to make it appear that Iraq
is stabilizing, just long enough for the campaign. Then afterwards when the attacks resume he'll point to it as proof there are terrorists in Iraq. What scares me is that some people may actually fall for a lame deception like this.

5. I believe that the people killing americans now
will have a big big say in whether or not american sooldiers are killed.
Forting up will make it so damn easy to kill americans, everyone knows just where they are, how many meters the mortars have to travle. They have to be supplied somehow also, so attacking the convoys, or if the americans won't come out of their holes, then bring out the shoulder fired missles and start shooting aircraft.
Another brilliant military statergy brought to you by an awol chimpanzee and his chickenhawk admin.
Yeah, thats the ticket.
