The Canada Transplant Project
The Far Right has ravaged America. Now, they are going up north!

"In Canada we have been immune to the Christian Right, they have not been that well financed nor taken seriously by the majority of Canadians and politicians until recently. With the successes south of the border, they have been emboldened to act in attempt to duplicate the same results here. They have not been doing it alone however, the American Christian Right has been financing the smaller poorer Canadian cousins."

http://politicsinbc.blogspot.com/2005/06/christian-right-hate-group-coming-to.html

It's time to start the secession of America. Our once great nation is crumbling because of the many decades of work by the Far Right.

I have an idea that I call the Canada Transplant Project.

We get Blue states to secede and then join Canada, the Blue states already know the evil of the Far Right and this will stop these Extremists in their tracks.

We must help our Liberal Brothers and Sisters up north!

2. I love this idea....
especially because I've been looking for an easy way to get into Canada

I don't think the Christian right will be able to influence politics in Canada like they do here, because they have to actually get elected in Canada, where in the U.S. they can just steal the election...make no mistake about it, BushCo IS part of the Christian right

3. I don't think Canadians would stand for it.
Most of the country is pretty left leaning and as Martin Short said, In Canada if I politician starts to utter references to God they don’t get elected. I for one as a Canadian would be very vocal about the religious right and the danger they impose.

About the only real Conservative stronghold n Canada is the east (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island) but these three provinces make a very small percentage of Canadians. I did not include Newfoundland as I am not overly familiar with the societies political preference.

The rest of Canada is pretty Liberal.

4. I wonder what the Canadians think of your idea?
Perhaps they might appreciate being consulted.

Other than that, your plan has certain merit. But why jon Canada in the first place?
