2. Somebody is trying to repair his image so he can be Pres
Whatever you say about him, its hard to call him dumb. He can see its time to repair the damage he has done in the last several months, abandon, to a degree, some of the nutjob Fundies and try to at least appear mainstream. When the shit falls for Bush, he will be further away from the cabal.

3. He's seen the polls on the issue; and he's looking towards 2008.
It's probably just that simple.. and, he's still a creep.

4. There are only two possible reasons I can come up with.
1) 2/3 of Americans favor Stem Cell Research, and he wants to run for President in 2008.

2) He or someone in his immediate family has contracted an incurable disease.

8. Of course, 2/3 of Americans don't want Roe overturned
I'm not holding my breath for Fristula to see the light on that issue.

5. Pandering 101 - More Rove Distractions
Yeah, Dr. Cat-Killer is sure having some conversion here. Probably cause he looked at his failing Presidential hopes and the popularity ratings of his Manchild in the White House and his diagnoisis: distraction!

Personally, I hope this is the ultimate suicide for Senator Big Pharma...now he'll get the fundies all pissed at him, and he surely isn't going to pick up any votes or support on our side.

Meanwhile, Bunnypants can pretend he's really on board with this thing while shrugging his shoulders when Dobson or one of God's Clown Circus starts their usual ranting and flailing.

A shame when this bastard pretend to be a "doctor" when he's a purely pandering for political reasons...not for the best benefits of health of this nation. Shameless Pandering...
