Do you have any idea how many were tombstoned, quit posting on their own, signed on but never came back and various other things? You've been here too long to buy into that number they post.

Countless folks have signed up here and, for whatever reason have never posted. Maybe they just read, but they could have done that without registering, eh? Heck, I was a lurker here for years before I signed up. (full disclosure!)

It does make you wonder how many active posters/participants are here.

And many of those folks are registered, but don't post very often.

I know for me, I spend 99% of the time scanning posts, and 1% posting - if even that!

I recently saw someone's post - with like less than 200 posts - and the poster was registered the first part of 2003

I've never seen a messageboard where an entire topic can get buried to another page in less than 10 minutes. That can happen here when its busy.
