The problem is so many of these things have a blast life of 1 day and then forgotten.

But, on google news I see propaganda on CAFTA front and center.

Since CAFTA from every angle is a nightmare for US citizens you know

6. emergency meeting

last I heard there was going to be an emergency meeting of house Dem's.

And I heard threats on committee appointments and basically stripping them of any power in the house as much as possible.

I want to know if this was done and it should be, absolutely.

Just on the environment alone, corporations can claim that environmental law is a barrier to their profits and sue the government for compensation of lost profit due to that nation's environmental law policy.

Come on, these people should be outed as traitors and should not be representing the people.

there is a small silver lining to CAFTA though. Red States are the first and hardest hit because all the NW liberal elitists dont have cotton gins anymore. They will hopefully get a better understanding of voting in your own self interest, not just to prevent gay marriage and abortion.

9. I don't know about Pelosi but just found out

from David Sirota, which Senate Dems supported CAFTA. Feinstein and Wyden being 2 or them. Wyden is my Senator and I just sent him a letter, telling him he has received the last vote he will get from me. I will work to defeat him next time around. He keeps sliding into corporate arms , as far as I can see. I am tired of voting for people who are liars. These politicians should use Peter DeFazio as a model . He is one of the most principeled politicians we have at present. And there are sure not many out there with principals, these days.These would be Pugs are not representing us.
