The key to a Hackett victory
Between now and election day, Paul Hackett needs to be all over the air waves attacking George W "Wussy" Bush. He needs to talk about the chickenhawks that ran and hid when they had a chance to serve. But, basically, he needs to be on the air more than the ads that are run against him. And he should be aggressive. Attack the White House for their lies. Attack them for lack of planning. Attack them for lack of leadership. Attack! Attack! Attack!

2. Attacking Bush in the most Republican district of Ohio
Doesn't seem like the smartest strategy to me.

Besides, Hackett is going to have to contend with a $500,000 RNC-financed TV smear campaign.

3. Fuck, yes. The minute I see him starting to do that,
I'm going to send him some money, and try to get everyone else I know to do the same.

But not until then. He's gotta show som lasting guts, not roll over like McCain did after he lost the primary.

6. OMG, Kentuck, you are so right! I've donated to Paul and I surely
hope that he will go on the attack and not be a wimpy DEM (of the type of which we are so familiar)! Come out swinging, Paul, and give 'em hell! We're behind you!

8. He's a straight talking dude.
If he's elected, he may become a huge player in Congress for the Democrats. He's a leader that's not afraid to speak the truth. He'd be a testament that Democrats can win by standing up to the Republican machine. That would serve this country and the Democrats quite well in 2005.
