Does anyone know where I can find a breakdown of house and senate numbers (ie. - number of dems and repukes in each part for each term). I've searched Google and Wikipedia and I can't seem to have it - and I don't have a history textbook near me. I'm just interested in this. If you have a website or anything, just drop it by in this thread. Thanks.

2. Thanks for your prompt service, but...

That wasn't what I was really looking for (though the voting records site is really good). What I'm looking for is the numbers of Dems and Repubs in the house and senate at a certain time. For example, for the 2004 to 2006 term, there are 55 Repukes, 44 Dems, and 1 Independent. How were those numbers like over the years of the Congress (in "modern" times, as there were no "Dems" back in the early 1800s and so). See what I'm looking for now? Thanks again though.
