I heard this morning that there is something that is sticking out of the shuttle about an inch. Which would make it harder for the insulation tiles to work. Coming back could be risky. So could fixing it. I hope the shuttle and the crew come back safe. If we have a disaster now, it could set us back 10 years. Who knows if NASA would even exist much longer after this.

nasa is essentially an arm of the DOD, don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise.
