Should there be a "Draft Gore" movement ?

Even if he doesn't run, do you think we should push that he be drafted? If you think he is the best candidate, would that not make sense? If there was an undecided and deadlocked convention, between Hillary, Clark, or whomever else might decide to run, would not Al Gore be the perfect compromise candidate? And would not that be the first step in restoring justice to our country after the theft of 2000?

Presidential elections are nothing more than a popularity contest, and I think we would do better with someone from outside the political arena who can speak in plain language to the American people.

and people will be thinking of the good old days of 90's and how F'd up the Republicans made the nation. Gore has distanced himself from the DLC crowd since 2000. The DLC was Clinton's think, Gore was just associtated with it. Gore is a strong environmentalist and would be a strong advocate for Renewable Energy, Global Warming, 2 crisises that Bu$h has ignored and made worst. I am hoping that the Iraq War is not as much of an issue in 3 years (and I really hope that a war in Iran is not an issue at all.).

I've greatly disliked Al Gore since I found out he existed in 1988.
If he got the nomination, I would abstain from voting for president.
