Beware Bruce Berman

Okay, I was stupid, I ordered the Bruce Berman book & CD for $3.95. On his web site http://www.igothere.com/page2.aspx?uid= no where does it say that it will cost you $99.90 IF you don't return the book & CD. If it had revealed that little tidbit, I would never have ordered it. Not even an asterisk at the word FREE. I've contacted them, and no apologies, also sounds like an outsourced customer service guy. I also contacted my credit card company, to get the charge off my card, but it will drag on for 6 to 8 weeks. I've also contacted AAR to tell them they have a SCAM artist advertising on their radio.

Am I wrong? Should I have just sent the stuff back........which I haven't even opened as yet, or fight it on principle? I HATE people who do this.

immediately upon seeing that they wanted $3.95 AND my credit card number. It had "scam" written all over it.

was running with computer training CDs. It's pretty common actually among many of (what I refer to as) those AM radio advertisers.

6. Okay, I figured out what they did

They sent the free items, plus CD's that I didn't order. Those CD's that I didn't order, I was supposed to send back or be charged $99.90. So, I'm going to be getting in touch with the attorney general in California to find out if that is even legal.
