Dean supporters: Has Dean bashing by Clarkies....
unfairly changed your opinion of the Gen.? And how has this helped the effort to unseat the current idiots in the White House?

IMHO, it's time for folks to calm down.

1. If anything...

It has made me feel MORE sympathetic toward him, because almost all the 'bad' *spooky sounds* stuff actually turns out to be murky and ambiguous, at best. It is, however, beginning to make me wonder about how many of my fellow Deanites are DEMOCRATS first, and not 'cult followers'. I'll take the votes however I can HONORABLY get them, but I don't want to defeat General Clark in a 'smear campaign'--- you can't throw shit without getting some of it on you. :eyes:

2. I'm not letting a few idiots on DU make up my mind about a candidate.
I listen to the candidates. I'm supporting Dean because of what Dean says. I'm not supporting Clark, because of what Clark says (or hasn't said). The fanatics (in any camp) have nothing to do with it for me.

3. Short answer: Yes
In the past, I have repeatedly stated over and over that I refuse to partake in "eating our own", and welcomed Clark's entrance to the field with open eyes and hopefulness. I am now revisiting that stance however, most particularly since this onset reeks of nasty politics ala the DLC.

I'm a liberal democrat first - NOT DLC ass kisser.

5. The Dean bashers do not have the POWER!
Howard Dean told me,"You have the Power to take back this country."
And by Gosh, I believe him too!

Clarkies are powerless in this persuasion.

Dean 2004 :bounce:

6. Hi, I support both
Hi,
I support both (and several others as well) and still do.
But this acrimony is dangerous nonsense.

7. The only Dean bashing that really affects me is Dean bashing Bush's
brains in.

Such a big bat for such a small target.
