How about a new (old) phrase.. The Ugly Republican

instead of the Ugly American. I don't really consider most Republicans these days to be Americans any longer.

And it allows us to exclude those Republicans we know who aren't ugly. There are a few.

2. How about the radical Republicans?

People don't like radical anything. If we could get this phrase to stick to the nitwit and his assorted malicous troop, I think it could be a great imprint.
Edit: It would allow a separation from "normal" Republicans, so no insult would be given.
