This one's not quite Debra Lafave.... but, pretty close. I don't know about you, but we didn't even have teachers that looked like these women when I was in school - let alone have them out there having sex with the kids.

I believe they convicted the teacher and put her in jail.

10. As much as this seems fantasy material, switch the genders and see if

you feel the same way = older male teacher with 16 yr old girls. its just plain wrong, either way. Even if the kid was interested, it was the responsibility of the adult to say no.

Even if there were not an age issue, there is a power issue. Just as a boss should not pressure an employee into sex, a teacher holds a similar and sometimes more powerful postition of dominance, and therefore responsibility.

I am a man, but I was once a victim of sexual harrassment by a supervisor. I wasn't the only one. But back then (1980s) there was no one to tell who would have been sympathetic. I was lucky, she just stared at my crotch in her office and made suggestive comments. Another coworker was not so lucky when she expected him to sleep with her on a business trip. He was married and so slept in the car and was passed over for good assignments after that.

but we certainly had some that apparently behaved like this. There were two female teachers in my high school who constantly flirted with the male students. Everyone in the school knew what was going on. The boys all thought they were gross. We had several male teachers who had sexual contact with female students. One of the girls was upset when a teacher broke it off and tried to kill herself by ingesting a huge bottle of aspirin in the girls' bathroom. The teacher was removed, no charges filed. One of the other teachers (my cousin by marriage I'm ashamed to say) waited until the girl he was messing around with graduated, then he married her. He's the high school principal now. This stuff has been going on for years. I think the kids involved are just younger now.
