Howard on Randi... Democracy Bonds..
Edited on Wed Aug-03-05 04:49 PM by Rosco T.
http://www.democrats.org/democracybonds.html

You can only buy one bond. You can decide to commit more money per month, depending on what you can afford, but the principle is democratic with a small-d -- one person, one bond. Every person can be a stakeholder in our party.

Governor Howard Dean launched the "Democracy Bonds" program (and bought the first one himself to signify his commitment) because he believes that we can take our country back -- precinct by precinct, block by block, with every Democrat taking responsibility for getting their family, friends and neighbors involved.

The Republicans raise $10 million every month from corporate interests and lobbyists. The Democratic Party will never be able to compete in the traditional ways with a party that has abandoned the people and taken selling access and influence to a new level.

But we can do it if half a million people are giving $20 a month to change the way our political process works.

Now THAT's a brilliant idea...

1. We would be better served if our candidates wouldn't concede the same nigh
the same night in close races, when there are serious issues of voting fraud to deal with. When my party leaders stop ignoring this, they can have my money again.

of AAR, as well too.

I see AAR to be as important as the DNC. Why, you ask?

AAR is a 24/7 campaign ad, all through the years between White House contests.
AAR is Air America Radio.

The DNC is needed, but only does ads during campaigns.

So patronize those AAR sponsors.. and urge DNC {and AFLCIO} to give grants to AAR for expansion.

AAR is really trying == it is in Dallas and Atlanta. But it is still not in Alabama or Mississippi. Dont stop till we are "on every radio".

Should have been on every radio since 1920. Then, no Great Depresson, no Viet war, no Nixon, no reagan, no bush.

President Kucinich would be nominating Dean to the Supreme Court.

5. Except for Bruce Berman
he's a scam artist. I ordered the $3.95 free CD and book. He sent the CD and book, plus CD's that I didn't order. Those CD's cost $99.90 and if you don't send them back, your credit card is charged the $99.90. Great scam, huh! I'm taking it up with my credit card company now.

4. OK, so now we have funding for the Dem Party. When are we going
to get candidates for the Democratic Party and not repub lites candidates posing as Democrats? How much money will it take to have the Democrats find their backbone? Money is not the only problem for this party. And after the last 25 years, I'd say it's not even the biggest problem
