I'm an eagle scout, and I'm also a democrat. I do not support many of the policies voiced by BSA executives, but I DO believe that I received something extremely important from the time I spent in scouts. ANd when I was that age, I didn't even KNOW what was going on with regards to policy. I'm sure these boys didn't either.

There are people that do not like the BSA, that's obvious. They are free to lambast it for those policies, and that's fine. But to think that you are so blinded by your hate of an ENTITY, that you would wish harm to ANYONE is shamefully subhuman, whatever the reason.

If you want to start a thread, a legitimate one, about the BSA, I'll entertain you with discussion. Otherwise this is bullshit.

I feel bad for those kids and their families of course, but there is an inherent urge to comment on past BSA publicity and decisions when you associate the words: Gays, Atheists, God, and Boy Scouts, all at the same time.

Most folks would have bet the farm that those lightning bolts would have gone in a very different direction, no???
