The vacationing war president.
Edited on Wed Aug-03-05 05:33 PM by Bleachers7
I don't understand why frat boy needs so much time off. I just don't get it. You become president. You only have 4-8 years on the job with the rest of your life off. Why do you need 50 vacations in 5 years? What a lazy fuck. If I was in that position, I would take almost no time. And there is a good reason. Because it's a tough job that requires a lot of personal commitment. There has to be something he could be working on. There is no way that there is nothing to do when you are president. He's such a lazy piece of shit.

1. Now, to be fair,
he does clear a LOT of brush at his "ranch".

4. Yeah sure he does, as long as the cameras are around.
 then he turns the job over to the hired cheap labor. He's not fooling anyone, well anyone who isn't all starry eyed over bush's fake macho persona, that is.

6. Exactly
I'm sure that's exactly what happens. Someone at his place probably sets up appointments for the press to come over and he does his brush clearing then. :eyes: How much brush is on that freakin place? My grandparents have a huge yard (well my grandmother now) and they don't spend that much time in their yard!

9. Probably not as much as they try to allude too.
The little worm probably has his pig farm foreman keep the place clear save for a small patch of brush for the Aug vacation chainsaw photo ops.

3. That has to be it.
I have been working almost constantly since I was 16. The old saying is "if there's time to lean, there's time to clean." It's OK to take a couple days off here and there, or even a long weekend, but 50 vacations? You have to be kidding me.

My dad doesn't even get that much vacation and I'm sure my dad probably works harder then George. I remember listening to someone and they were interviewing a woman who was an aide of Clinton's and she said how Clinton would stay up till 3am finishing business and then he would even cut his own vacations short. Imagine the state of the country would've been in if FDR had done a Bush stunt and had this many vacations.

11. and Clinton only got half of Bush's salary
Americans are paying Dubya $400k/year plus expenses, for what?

I agree with you that Clinton put in more hours, AND got more accomplished than Georgie (who is notorious for shoving his workload onto other people ... "delegating", he calls it -- he didn't even read 2-page documents, since it was such hard work to turn them over).

7. You gotta understand thinking sprains his brain.
Can you imagine his reaction if his employee told him that they needed at least 10 weeks of vacation per year?
