The great irony: Homophobic conservatives who love the musical 'RENT'

I saw this on another message board I go to & thought ti was pretty interesting & thought I'd share. There is something odd about the theme to the story of RENT & how some conservatives embrace it & all. When you disect the story, its everything Republicans hate.

Very different than DU, but politics come up alot. There are a few Conservative Republicans who post non-stop, who know alot about Broadway musicals, Love all things musicals & mock gay people & put them down & tell them they are going to hell. They love to pick fights & are pretty bitchy, yet claim they are not gay & are insulted by the suggestion.Just the other day there was a topic about Air America & how its going down. They sued Free Republic links & Newsmax to support their case. Imagine, freepers posting on a broadway message board!
