It seems that some RW'ers would destroy everything just to spite Liberals.

13. Sorry I should elaborate...

It is human nature to believe that everybody from the other party is out to get you. (Just like it is human nature to believe that people of the other ideology are brainwashed and people of your party think freely.) It has been my experience, from debating and discussing with people from both parties, that both parties voting habits are similar in terms of rationality (given their inherent biases). People will accuse others of voting out of spite but will vote the way they choose to in a rational fashion (again, given their inherent biases). I stress given their inherent biases because no voters fully understand the full consequences of the decisions being made. Some will accidentally vote against their own self interest for lack of information and education.

(Note: You originally said “seem” meaning that it is your impression of the way the world is and that you may or may not be correct. I should stress that I have taken this literally.)

5. My explanation...These guys are obsessively dualistic.

They basically have conditioned their minds with Christianity good vs evil black vs white thinking so much that they think that anything bad for their "evil" enemy must also be good for them. You can see this really clearly with the war on terror/Iraq where it seems the only thing that matters is destroying an enemy, without regard to effect on budgets or even an actual picture of what "victory" would look like! So they don't think about America's well being, or even their own. They just try to destroy the "other side" at all costs.

6. Weakness

They equate compassion, diversity, pacifism and tolerance as signs of weakness. They see no way that compromise and respect for humanity and tolerance of all points of view could convey leadership and good management.

Because the Dems encompass such a wide variety of positions on any given topic, we are seen a scattered and un-focused. They believe that because we take the time to work the situation through from all angles before making a decision, instead of just demanding dogmatic acceptance of hastily formed opinions, we are vulnerable and sympathetic to "the enemy".

7. Dinosaurs

I think Michael Moore got it pretty much right. It's the death knell of the dinosaurs. Their perfect little leave it to beaver image was shown to be a sham in the 60s and they hate it hate it hate it. So, with the back lash they are vicious like cornered animals.

talking heads. I can't recall the amount of times I have heard such repeated...They talk about liberal soldiers dying is of no real consequence, I have heard some say that all they are good for is human shields. I kid you not, thats the mindset....

we have intelligence on our side. We have the bottom feeders who are used to being kicked around. If the Repukes thought we kicked them around before, I have never in the 40 some odd years I have been alive seen this many pissed off people before. whether that's true or not they will NEVER be happy. They own this country and still their focus is on us. That tells me so much. It seems they live to be mean, ugly and controlling.

Misread thought the question was why the world hates us.They hate us because when we are effective,we put the breaks on their greed and corruption not that its a one way street.We put in regulations,that they have been removing for years that held back corporate greed.

Not entirely but at least it used to slow it down.We gave a voice and a fighting chance to the poor and disenfranchised.Just a few.

Once it gets started, it's almost impossible to stop. All you can do is slip into lead clothing, wait out the storm, and try to rebuild the human race after they're done. It's a burden to bear, but somebody has to do it. It's our calling.
