And so we continue...
I love our country, but am so terribly ashamed of our "leaders" actions and policies. I am also deeply ashamed that so many in this country rabidly defend the actions of our fascist "leaders"to their fellow countrymen and the world, high-fiving each other with each new atrocity reported, ignorant of anyone's suffering, maybe not even their own in some cases.

I am doing all that I can to try and end this regimes reign of terror, but it seems that they have assumed almost complete power and control over most aspects of life here now.

I will keep doing whatever is required to end the nightmare that is deepening in America, along with my fellow patriots, this I vow. I wonder often though if we can be successful, it seems our voices aren't loud enough and I can't scream much louder.

My heart despairs thinking of the innocent lives that have been brutally taken in the name of America. The agony of knowing is almost too much to bear at times. My despair grows each day as more is revealed.

My heart and my soul cry out to the rest of the world for forgiveness for the atrocities being committed in the name of America. My shame deepens each day as more is revealed.

My heart despairs that we may never see freedom again, at least not for generations to come. My fear, that we have lost too much already, raises it's head every morning as I awaken and is waiting, always waiting, to overtake my spirit. I try to ignore it, but it's voice is getting louder.

My anger grows each day as I watch our government driving person after person, family after family further into the depths of financial despair. My anger is on the edge of fury as more is revealed each day. I try to contain it, but it swirls through my soul like a tornado, wanting to be unleashed against those that cause such suffering in this world.

My frustration grows each time I hear of those with much, whining for more, when there are so many that haven't even the means to survive day to day, week to week. My frustration grows that those that have can't seem to appreciate how very much they have and those that need find brick walls and glass ceilings standing in the way of their very survival.

But, I thank the Universe each day, knowing there are still voices raised to protest and that there are those willing to sacrifice their all to succeed in our quest for fairness and justice in this new world order. But my heart despairs at how much we may need to sacrifice to succeed. My soul knows that death comes to all, but my heart fears the physical suffering that may be required. In that I am a coward, I confess.

Thank you all who rise each morning and continue the fight in the face of tremendous odds against our battle for truth and justice. Our number may not be large, but our spirit is gigantic and will not easily be quashed.

And so we continue as long as we have breath left in our lungs, hearts beating in our chests and brains conscious of injustices in our heads. We continue as long as our eyes lay witness to the future growing for our children, one that appears to grow dimmer with each bill passed by our government and the growing menace of theocracy in our midst.

Peace and strength of spirit to you all.

And so we continue....

V

area with their policies - except elections.

Like Rasputin - they will show the world and Americans - how silly & useless elites are & how a few people should never have too much power. That there is a huge soul void in some people. That they suss out mistics like desperate people. That they need to be connected to community through progressive taxation & the like..or they wither & die as human beings. And become the victim of sociopaths & cult.

11. But they are succeeding more each day, when a child I know
may be forced to sleep in a car while receiving radiation, they have gotten too far.

(I've advocated for her, don't worry, something is being done. But it should never have come to be in the first place. And the number of those with no voices continue to rise.)

The ones who are adult & worldly and think for themselves. We know who to blame.

29. our hearts are so in agreement on that
there is so much divide and growing every day

i was thinking earlier i wonder when there will be some type of revolution against the unfeeling corporate rich
it was a brief thought but with all the information about people losing jobs and those without healthcare and the meth epidemic etc it just seemed a natural thought

will these numbers rise and rise until they create a flood

it should never come to that
i know just what you mean

35. A quiet rage is growing in America and
among those that previously thought they were immune. I hear more anger from people I never expected to question the government. But they fear this administration and it will have to get more personal before they will act, but I do believe a revolution will occur, it's just a matter of when.:hi:

you know its critical to rise up but yet many of us understand what that may mean
what we want it to mean and it becomes this double edged sword doesnt it

but fight people will if they are hurt/mad enough

here is to our own "struggle against violent extremism"

16. Very nice post. I was just looking at the pictures of the Marines
that were killed recently, and I began to sob very quietly. I just don't know what to do anymore and am extremely disheartened. I'm finding it hard to accept that we have so many cold, heartless people in America, and that seems to bother me most. Yes, and so we continue......
