Which Party do you think would be most likely to "fix" an election..?

Would it be the one that brought "honor and dignity" back to the White House or would it be those "liberal" Democrats that helped steal Illinois for the Democrats in 1960 election? Would it be the Party that supports Christian and family values or would it be the Party that support equal rights for gays and minorities? Would it be the Party that pledges the loudest when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance? Or would it be the Party that criticizes our involvement in the War in Iraq? Surely you do not think that Republicans would be more inclined to "fix" an election than those Democrats? Do you?

about opposition candidates. the party that spends tax payer dollars on false news stories as ads, the government that changes numbers from studies and reports done

the same party that steals and hides money and cant account for it

the party that went to court to get approval for voter intimidation

a party that has more convicted criminals from previous administrations

that party right

that uses religion to create hate towards groups of people
that want to make women second class citizens

4. I've been HOPING the Dems fix the elections...

Lawd knows that 2000 and 2004 is sorely in need of repairs!

5. I'm starting to think the focus on parties is a red herring.

Maybe it's not Repubs vs. Dems so much as it is $$$ vs. not-$$$ . . . maybe Marx had that much right.

My understanding is that Dems have from time to time been involved in election fraud -- but nothing approaching the scale we saw in favor of Repubs in 2004. We're just not that organized, as they say.

But what really buys effective organization is $$$.

6. The Democratic big city political machines of the

1870's to 1940's used to be very well organized.

Boss Tweed and Boss Plunkett at tammany Hall - they were guys who knew how to steal elections.

The most famous stolen election though was the presidential election of 1860 wich was a Republican theft.

My favorite "makes you go hmmm" presidential election was the 1868 presidential election in South Carolina.

From 1861-1865, probably 80 % of the adult white men in the state served under General Lee for some period of time. So then three years later we're siupposed to believe that the state voted for General Grant for president? Hmmmm.
