1. Majoritarianism is a poor technique of argument

So they win an election, or even win a lot of elections. That by itself does nothing to vindicate the correctness of their political philosophy or the correctness of their issue positions. It's actually very childish: "NA! NA! NA! NANNA!!! We won!!! HA! HA!"

Well I guess that puts us in our place. I guess that means the Iraq War, the Bush tax cut and CAFTA were all right for America. We'll just have to shut up now. :eyes:

but majoritarianism is what elections are all about. But it's foolish to gloat over a narrow victory in a heavily Repuke district.

What I hate is that they wrap themselves up in patriotic BS and then put no effort in "The War." My office is full of repukes but I'm the only one who has family who served in Iraq.
