How does Maury Povich get away with this shit???

...watching his show right now...the usual....screaming young mothers accusing ex-boyfriends of being the father of their kid....Maury gets out his manila envelope with the DNA test results....

....same ol'....but they bring the little babies to the set too...camera is on them in a back room off stage while mom and possible dad go at it on stage.

Where the hell are child welfare agents in this disgusting scenario....at least on Springer you only have pathetic adults going at it, and they don't drag babies or toddlers on the show with them.

6. LOL... I caught it too, he used to be respectable. Now he has

women testing 25 men to see who the father is. It's a disgrace and makes women look bad. If he cared so much he would do the testing behind the scenes.

7. All I have to say on the matter:

It's all about ratings and money.

Maury is one sick puppy, moreso than Springer (though not by much).

A society that prefers watching people sink-or-swim to helping them swim is no society of any kind.

Whenever a commentator on television talks about trash TV, they always use Springer as a reference....never Povich....In my opinion, what Povich does amounts to child abuse....Where are all the "Christians?"....One would think they would be calling for people to boycott such an "unChristian" show....I guess it depends on what party the perpetrator (Povich) belongs too....I understand he is a Republican....

9. The only person I ever heard confront Povich about this is Howard Stern

He had Povich on his show and it was a lot of silly jokes about what Connie was like in the sack etc. However, Howard made sure to tell him how much he disaproved of having young teenage girls on the show, held up to be criticized and ridiculed for topics like "My 13 year old looks 30" or exposing their young sex lives. Howard, father of 3 daughters, talked about how cruel and exploitive it is but Povich had no defense. Of course anyone that doesn't listen to Howard will think it's the pot calling the kettle black but there is a difference between talking to a 12 year old and an 18 year old. POvich is as low as anyone can be in media. No taboo is taboo.
