Wonderful speech, said the grads should question their elected officials, especially when they send our country to war based on lies.

Many of the faculty applauded, many of the audience booed. Fuck 'em if they can't handle the truth.

and they were always personal, responding to precisely what I'd written about . . . Helen is a national treasure, and one of the few persons of status who aren't full of themselves . . . we need more like her . . .
