President Bush said Thursday that videotape threats from al-Qaida's second-in-command will not drive the United States out of Iraq or the broader Middle East. "We will stay on the offense against these people," Bush said of the comments by Ayman al-Zawahri.
Stay on the offens(ive)? stay? May be he meant start. We are bombing the people of Iraq that had nothing to do with 9-11 and have little to do with al-Qaida network. In fact it's nearly 4 years since Bush vowed to get these people dead or alive and I still have to watch video tape from them going "nah nanny nah na, your president isn't looking for us". It's 4 year! Isn't about time someone pointed out to our president the only offensive thing in Iraq is the WAR WE BROUGHT IT!!!! And we yet to start to do anything offensive about terrorism.

.. playing to his shrinking base.. his mandate to fight terrah and keep the war on terrah over there.
After all, we don't want to change leaders in the middle of a war. The horror..
