Novak versus Oliver North.
Oliver North, if you'll remember, was also involved in right-wing machinations, yet the man was viewed as a national hero by the right for following orders. Why do you suppose that Novak is cracking, instead of following in Oliver North's footsteps by showing no shame for his wrongdoings?
