I often post my weekly newspaper column here and usually get one or two replies, but today I posted it twice and got no replies at all. I use DU as a source of ideas for the column, which appears in a small daily (15,000 circ) in (very red) central Pennsylvania, and appreciate any feedback/corrections/suggestions/future ideas. one thing i would point out though is that although Poland trusted us (well, you know...THEM....) and sent troops it was a symbolic gesture. I don't know what Poland's standing army numbers are, but 1700 is a small % of whatever it is. My point is, duped or not, they were comlicit in giving the illusion of a coalition. A true commitment was never asked for nor given.
