Last year a AZ congressional candidate who got the Republican nomination in Raul Grijalva's district was a known racist. He doesn't even try to hide it. He calls Mexicans "Wetbacks" and "Spics" in public. He doesn't even have a platform. If you ask him about education he talks about keeping Mexicans out of our country. What's his opinion on the war? That we need to close the border so Mexicans can't come in our country. How about Social security? We need to keep Mexicans out of our country. You get the picture, I'm sure. He handily won his primary too. Got stomped in the GE though, he was so bad the Republican party was embarrassed and refused to endorse him.
