I watched some of the last episode of Capitol Gang, and you could tell Shields, Carlson and Hunt were in no mood to even put on a nice face for that final show--they were dripping with hatred for Novak. If I recall correctly, most of the "barbs" collected over the years were directed at him. I cannot imagine ANY other on-air figure being treated so shabbily by CNN.
