The bloggers are often called similar to the old wild west, but they organized and together raised $550,000 for Hackett in Ohio. On the last day of the campaign, Hackett needed another $30,000, so the Bloggers got on the net, made phone calls, and delivered a check to Hackett for $60,000!

Snyder said the bloggers said it best on their web site:

The Repubilican establishment should be on notice, and for that matter, the Democratic establishment should be as well! GET WITH THE PROGRAM, OR WE'LL LEAVE YOU BEHIND!"

It was the passion for his campaign expressed here at DU that made me kick in what I could afford. I hope he intends to continue pursuing a career in politics.
