18. I found four copies of this picture on the web. . .
all dated June to August 2004. Don't know what it means -- I'd have thought the pix would be published well before this -- don't know what Vogue would gain by holding the pix until now instead of running them last year, at the time the RNC would have been pressuring them to run the pix.

4. nuts? or incredibly savy
I think America is getting tired of Bushes swagger, his non chalance, taking vacations while people mourn the loss of their kids who died in his stupid war. I think Vogue is trying to drive that home in their own subtle way.

12. the Vogue magazine just came out this month was on the news
two days ago!!!

http://www.deccanherald.com/deccanherald/july162004/f2.asp

In the interview, the daughters disclosed that they like to drink soy lattes at Starbucks and eat at sushi restaurants.

I wonder how many lattes are on the Iraq War menu for our troops!!!

11. Let's cut the girls some slack here...
I'm no fan of the Bush twins by a long shot, but I don't think we should be beating them over the head for posing in Vogue magazine.

Let's be fair here. Their father's sins are not their fault. And when we committed troops to Bosnia, would we have expected Chelsea not to go about her life?

Bush is the one who committed our troops to an illegal, false war. I have a problem with him partying and whooping it up. The twins, however, did not commit the troops.

And they have been doing some good. Barbara was volunteering some of her time this summer working with children with AIDS in Africa.

21. Well if that is your premise...
I hope you haven't been visiting any clubs lately. I hope you haven't participated in any birthday parties, weddings or anything else celebratory.

Believe me, I understand your point, but I think we nee to be fair here.

And we also need to keep in mind that the Kerry daughters also posed for Vogue as well. I don't here anyone complaining about them posing for Vouge.

All I'm saying is we need to be fair.

20. there is so much to be outraged about...
the fact that we are in this awful war to begin with, the fact that the administration lied to get us in it, the fact that our troops don't have the resources to fight it... this is just trivial.
