For those using their religion (and my own personal faith) to manipulate others, I remind you of this:
"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites : for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." -- Matthew 6:5-7
“Take care that you don't flaunt your religion in public to be noticed by others. Otherwise, you will have no recognition from your Father in the heavens" -- Matthew 6:1
The second side is this:

This record is extremely sensitive. No further copies should be made. It should be shown only to those w/ a genuine need to know its contents. Bush wanted to remove Saddam, through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism & WMD. But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy. The NCS had no patience with the UN route, and no enthusiasm for publishing material on the Iraqi regime’s record. There was little discussion in Washington of the aftermath after military action. It seemed clear that Bush had made up his mind to take military action, even if the timing was not yet decided. But the case was thin. Saddam was not threatening his neighbours, and his WMD capacity was less than that of Libya, North Korea or Iran. We should work up a plan for an ultimatum to Saddam to allow back in the UN weapon inspectors. This would also help with the legal justification for the use of force.
HOW CAN A NATION ALLOW A SMALL GROUP OF PEOPLE TO COMMIT ACTS OF TERROR IN THEIR NAME?
