Facilitating nuclear terrorism

It is commendable that ordinary citizens are expressing their defiance of terrorism (" 'Not-afraid' website talks back to terror," Aug. 5).

Unfortunately, the energy bill recently passed by Congress makes nuclear terrorism more likely, by easing restrictions on the export of weapons-grade uranium. This provision is called "The Burr Amendment."

Our leaders have failed us.
