To see which college or university could get the most volunteers to join the military? Maybe we could get a grant or scholarships as a reward to their college if they were the winners? Just think, they could help their college and, at the same time, alleviate those recruitment pressures that the military has been experiencing? Not only could they do the talk, but they would have an opportunity to walk the walk...

I ran across earlier today. He was driving a jalopy pick-up truck emblazoned with flags, ribbons, and "These Colors Don't Run," "Gun Control Means Using Both Hands," and "Freedom Ain't Free" stickers. I snapped. He looked at me like I was nuts (but at least he didn't shoot me...).

I wonder if I could fit "Fighting for Our Freedoms? Fighting for Halliburton's 284% 2Q Profits Is More Like It" on sticker. Maybe that would get through to the yellow ribbon crowd. Or not.
