I just wrote a letter to Mountain Spring Waters. Please join me in writing them.
To Whom It May Concern: I would like to approach you with a request for a charitable contribution. Gold Star Families for Peace are the remaining family members of soldiers who have died in Iraq. This is an increasingly unpopular war and many questions are being posed that our country, under the direction of George W. Bush, was misled into going to war. As of this date, over 1800 American soldiers have lost their lives for this cause. Gold Star Families for Peace, Veterans for Peace, Military Families Speak Out, Iraq Veterans Against the War Code Pink, and Crawford Peace House are all in Crawford as we speak to ask that President Bush justify this war and the loss of life. As of this email time, President Bush has refused to speak to these families. They are out in the Texas heat. Is there any way that your company can furnish water to them in Crawford? There are members of the White House press corps as well as local and national media present in Crawford so you would get some media coverage. If you can't do this as a charitable contribution, can you set up an account so that concerned citizens all over the world can donate money to if you will all deliver it? Thank you for a timely response. They really need a water supply ASAP in Crawford. Thank you so much and I will look forward to hearing from you.

I am also attempting to contact Coca Cola Bottling Company in Waco to see if they would be interested in providing water. I have been unsuccessful so far. Contact person is Sherry Busby, phone number is 254-399-5800. I have to leave for a bit and won't be back until early afternoon. If someone wants to carry this torch I will give it, otherwise will pursue it when I return home this afternoon.
