14. I've been checking for the Paypal link all day

If I remember correctly, when I set up my Paypal account it took several days. Paypal had to make 2 small deposits to the bank account I provided and I had to reply with confirmation #s before the account was active. I hope the Crawford Peace House has found a way to expedite the process.

The account should be active immediately but they won't be able to withdraw the funds until the bank info is verified. It takes about 4 business days.

Bank info and other issues.

I think the only hold back right now is getting it up on the website and that is being worked on.

27. Okay, I guess I see...they need bank stuff to actually GET the money, but

they could have gotten donations held in escrow while they're farting around with the details. Someone is not on the ball...

edit: What I meant was, I can send money thru Paypal (which I've used for years & never had a problem) to an email address that DOESN'T EVEN EXIST...the funds will be there until someone "signs up" using that email. Unless somebody thinks Paypal will steal the money...I'm certain that wouldn't happen. :eyes:

26. Personally I Hate PAYPAL! I far prefer to send checks or MO's through

the US Express and Priority Mail. Rarely ever use them.

Just me and for what it is worth.

Detailed accounting of how money is spent will be provided. I promise and will make sure of it (in a past life (a few years back) I was in accounting and auditing).
