I wish Tucker's show was still on now. Now it is Michael Jackson, Aruba,
blah, blah, blah.

At least Rachael was on it and they talked politics.

Now it is back to HGTV or no TV.

Am I the only one?

1. There's always "Law and Order" reruns on TNT.
That's where I'm headed now. :)

11. I guess I will find out what is on all the non-news channels.
I like VH1 also but tonight it is celebrity blather on Anna Nicole Smith. I'm not interested.

OMG, this weekend I got hooked on Celebrity Fit Club and Who Wants to be America's Next Top SuperModel or something like that. Willie Ames is NUTS.

On my Favorites, I have all the C-spans and news channels (excluding the Faux propaganda channel, of course) plus VH1 and HGTV so those channels suck me in.

2. Rita Cosby could hardly wait to try and divert our attention
I turned off my tv right after KO. Laura Flanders is much better on AAR.

3. Exactly! And they've been shilling her show on NBC and MSNBC
all day long.

They're DYING to distract us. When in doubt, pull out Michael Jackson again. Honest to goodness, does ANYONE give a flying duck about him?

Distraction, pure and simple. And how many seconds do you think it will take before someone from SNL has a dead-to-rights imitation of her? She starts as a caricature.

5. No
It's on at 11PM Live now - it was moved because, apparently, MSNBC felt that there wasn't enough coverage of missing white girl on television.

6. Current Tv
It's the only TV that doesn't threaten to fire their talking heads if they say something good about Al Gore.

7. He is now on at 11:00 pm Eastern. He was moved for Rita Cosby.
So he will now be on opposite The Daily Show.

It was actually usually watchable and interesting - at least some of the time.

I don't mind hearing RW'ers as long as our side gets a chance to give our POV.

Now, 8:00 pm Central is back to being a wasteland.

That is probably good. It will make it easier for me to get my kids to bed by 9:00 (central time)- do all the pre-bed stuff from 8-9 with no TV distractions.

8. It's trash tv.
I'll refuse to watch it. I found even the brief clips I saw promoting it toxic. She was animated in describing some jurors from the Jackson case, who are writing books. Pathetic.

9. I hate to generalize, but why are middle class white women so obsessed
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 08:36 PM by mixedview
with these cases ? (they are demographic driving these shows.)

I don't get it.

Yes - Tucker's show at 9pm was way better than this - more political and current events driven, and at least tried to appeal to a younger audience.

12. I'm a middle class white woman and I hate this crap. I wont watch
it. I don't know why anyone watches this stuff but Greta is winning the ratings game now so I guess this is going to be MSNBC's show like that - bore me to tears.
