Take my pledge to support Cindy unconditionally

Folks I am excited about the support I see on DU for Cindy Sheehan and her efforts. I hope that we can continue to support her in any way we can. I also applaud those of you who are giving financial support and/or traveling to Crawford, you guys are all down for the cause and I cannot express my sincere appreciation to all of you.

That being said I want all of you take the following pledge (some of it tongue-n-cheek) becasue I have seen so many people praised on the DU one day and demonized the next. Think about it, I think DU is the only place where my two Senators (Durbin and Obama) are viewed as sellouts.

So here it is, feel free to add you own lines to the pledge:

I (insert DU name here) pledge to support Cindy Sheehan in her efforts to meet with * and hold him accountable for sending our fighting men and women to war under false pretenses.
In pledging my support to Cindy I also pledge not to turn on her and call her a sellout if:
+She meets with and/or compliments the DLC;
+Appears on Hannity & Colmes and does not castrate Hannity in her first 30 seconds on the show;
+She supports CAFTA
+She drives an SUV
+She does not oppose John Roberts nomination to SCOTUS
+She meets with * and says anything remotely complimentary of him
+She shops at Walmart
+Voted for Reagan/Bush in the 80's
+Joins Poppy in Tsunami relief outreach

... of our own frailty and diversity. I think you have a humorous and genuine way of capturing the essence of the fact that we need to cut some slack to those who, most of the time, are willing to fight the good fight.
