Looks like they're going to spray Sacramento for West Nile
tonight.

Has anyone had this done in their city and what are the effects?

2. isnt that just spraying for mosquitos?
here in so fla they do it periodically through the wet season, usually late at night.

here they have a truck with a motorized fogger on the back driving through the neighborhoods. malathion I think from the smell.

they were nice enough to stop for a moment and not to gas me and the dog last time I passed them on the sidewalk.

5. it's this stuff
The pesticide that will be sprayed is a pyrethins, derived from chrysanthemums. It is the same chemical found in flea and tick spray.

Officials said it will be distributed in such small amounts residents probably won't even see the spray and that it will not harm pets.
