DU action: Drudge smear of Cindy Sheehan.

In case you haven't seen the other posts, the Sludge report is trying to smear Cindy Sheehan. He is using this poor woman's grief after the loss of her son to discredit her. KKKarl would be proud.

Although Sludge doesn't have a "contact me" link (he must be scared), he does have a "news tip" section. I used it to tell him just what I thought of him. I suggest as many DU'ers as possible do the same. Be concise, if you go over the character limit (that's not posted, of course) your comments get erased and you get about a dozen pop-up ads.

Sludge has sunk to many new lows in the past, but his treatment of a grieiving mother shows his heartlessness in ways that, well, I can't think of words to describe this new low.

3. I wrote a nasty message

Hope I don't go to jail. I called him a sonofabitch at the end of the message. I said that even if she has changed her tune on bush, she has a right to because she's an American whose son is dead because of illegalities. So it is her right to change her mind. Then I said that it appears that they are going to arrest her on Thursday and challenged him to report that. Then I called him a sonofabitch. Couldn't help it.

he was pretty ruthless in his attack, called her a liar basically, ranted and did a swift boat attempt to discredit her. Then he got word that Peter Jennings died and he changed topic.

It doesn't work so well with a grieving mother, whose pain is obvious to everyone and who does what any other mother would do if they could.

The only thing to do is ignore her and hope no one notices.

9. Smearing greiving Mothers whos children

have been killed for people like Drudge, is the most despicable , inhumane, lowlife tactic Ive ever known.

Can someone remove these people from the human being category? They dont deserve to be in the same species as people like Cindy and her hero son.

10. In my email to him I pointed out that if Cindy wasn't a national

security risk on Wednesday, but was on the day he wanted to throw a big old Texas-style party for his buddies, then she isn't really a security risk at all - just a nuisance to a man who is afraid to confront her and send in his bullies to do his dirty work for him, which is exactly what is happening. Drudge is an asswipe and always has been.
